ECW News Update The civil lawsuit against Extreme Championship Wrestling began in court on May 1st. The plaintiff Raymond Schweitzer is sueing HHG, Paul Heyman, Terry Funk, Mick Foley, Tod Gordon, and Extreme Championship Wrestling.
The lawsuit stems from a incident at a ECW Arena show on October 25, 1995. During the show, Terry Funk and Mick Foley perfomered a spot with a flaming chair. The chair was lit by a towel wrapped around the chair. Mick Foley tossed the chair and the towel came off, landing on or near Terry Funk. Reports on the incident vary with some saying that Funks shirt did catch on fire briefly while others say that the towel fell on him.
Raymond Schweitzer in the lawsuit contends that the incident caused him to have flashbacks of the incident up to one year following the show and a flashback caused him to suffer a accident while riding a motorcycle.
Lawyers for the defendent are arguing that Schweitzer moved over the guardrail during the incident and that he placed himself in harms way

NEW ECW VIDEO GAME
Screen shots from the second Extreme Championship Wrestling game have been made available by Acclaim. The game is entitled Anarcy Rulz and the release dates for Playstation are in August and the Dreamcast
edition will be released in October. No release date has been announced for the Nintendo 64 version.
The game will feature more than 60 wrestlers including Sandman, Dusty Rhodes and Masato Tanaka who were not in the first game, Hardcore Revolution. New gimmick matches have also been included in the game,such as Inferno match, Hate, Dumpster and Team rumbles
